Labursama was set up by 2 business entrepreneurs from Penang with the aim of the company to embark on projects that are beneficial to the economic welfare of Penang. This vision has led the company to identify the few sectors to be involved in, basically the Marine Contruction and Agriculture sectors.

in Marine, the company had embarked on the provision of tug services to Penang Port. lt started with operation of 1 harbour tug and later expanded to 3 tugs. There is also the plan to expand to other ports and to involve in the offshore, oil & gas sectors.

in Construction, the company had undertaken to rejuvenate some abandoned housing projects on a turnkey basis and hospital projects, etc, Marine infrastructure projects are also within the means of the company and hence is looking at various reclamation & dredging projects, etc.

The Agriculture sector was a later entry for the company and this witness the success of a contract to supply fertilizers to the Ministry of Agriculture. New products are now being added to our range to further support the general agriculture industry.

The focus of the company will be to strengthen its core businesses and to look into any potential new areas that can complement its overall business strategies.
